And has anyone read Phoenix and Ashes (Elemental Masters) by Mercedes Lackey?

Tarot cards are featured in there. And some technical physics parts which, I am nerdish enough to admit, I truely love. I met her at a convention held in Perth, Australia called Swancon. And since it was a small convention, almost all of us got to talk to her personally and in lil groups. I must say Mercedes was so not what I thought she would be like. Very.... motherly and friendly and fun, too. ^^. And her husband, Larry Dixon is an amazing artist. And both have incredible story telling voice. ^_^. We got to hear them read several chapters from some of their soon to be published books and hear them sing. Very very talented people.


Though my fav of her books are the Last Herald Mage trilogy, Phoenix and Ashes has some explanations on elemental magic which I would have been almost willing to believe if I had read them in my high school physics book. lol. Yeah, weird person but still.... It's described and written that well. ^___^.
