Hi, I just wanted to ask a question. I was a huge fan of the dubbed as a kid and I want to get back into It. Is it better to start fresh with subs? or should I keep going with the dubbed ones? Thanks
As a native Portlander, I have a philosophy about rain, to wit: It's Only Water, also sometimes articulated as "I don't need no stinkin' umbrella."
Turns out, that's easy to say when you only have to wait for a bus, or walk a few blocks. When you're riding a bicycle four miles, rain is really, really wet. Your back gets wet. Your thighs get wet. Your feet get wet. Your hands get wet. Rain gets in through the vent holes in your helmet and your hair gets wet.
My living room and bathroom are draped with soggy garments.
Lest you think I complain: no! I had the bike lanes to myself, I proved that I can ride in a downpour, and I feel fantastic! It's only water, after all.

I think I'm just going to call Treize 'Lord' on occasion, and Zechs, too. I dunno if Wufei will find out about it. Might make for a nice sequel when I have time and energy to do more research.
Writing has been nil so far today, sorry. I hate being sick.
Stitching nil, too, so no update for the game.
You guys reckon Kailia will level up at 200?

So I've been debating (see: procrastinating) about buying another OP calendar for next year because I quite love the one I have this year, and I managed to find pictures for the 2010 one up on the AP Forums. Well, one picture in particular caught my eye...

I want to save a presentation online somewhere. It's 45 MB--to big for google docs. What should I use?
Hey, I'm new to both this community and the fandom itself. I got into this pairing when I read a whole bunch of doujinshi and adored them. I want to move onto fanfiction and have the preference of uke!Zoro. Does anybody have any recs for me, I would appreciate it.
I suddenly got into a werewolf movie phase and decided to check out some of the, hmm, slightly more obscure werewolf films. There really aren't that many good werewolf films out there, honestly. So anyway, I caught this Canadian werewolf movie called [Ginger Snaps]. It's actually a trilogy, but after watching all three, I've decided that only the first movie is really THAT good. The other two are okay, but you should watch them only if you like the first one.
Interestingly, the protagonists of this film are two teenaged sisters - edgy 16-year-old Ginger and her younger sister, the more gawky Brigitte. Just a year apart in age, the two sisters do virtually everything together, united in their stand against the world and hormonal toilet that is their high-school. They also share a fascination for the very morbid (for a school project, they took photographs of their own staged deaths, go figure). However, their closeness comes to a sudden halt when Ginger is attacked by a werewolf. Although she survives, she also starts to change, slowly but surely transforming into a werewolf, complete with raging hormones and an insatiable bloodlust. Both fearful and anguished, Brigitte must now race against time to find a cure for Ginger before she completes the change.
( What I love about this movie )

Title: Trainwreck on Kamabakka
Genre: Humor/Romance
Characters: ZoroxSanji Pre-slash
Rating: PG/K+
Length: 13,500ish words
Status: Complete
Summary: If “Suzy” can make it through the day without giving in, Sanji wins. If Zoro can make Sanji fess up rather then endure further embarrassment, Zoro wins. Or so they thought…
Those of you who haunt fanfiction.net have probably already seen this. I've been informed that the summary is misleading, because it calls to mind massive potential for horrible stupidity. I like to think I successfully avoided that in the actual story contents. :P

Hey, Kailia leveled up! And she's a horse! I like horses :D
Thanks, guys - this is kinda fun, seeing what they turn out to be.
I have a question - I don't know a lot about Treize - sad, huh? I haven't watched the anime in a horribly long time - poor neglected show! and I can't remember if he's a Lord? I'm pretty sure they said he was Nobility...?
Is he a Sir, a Lord, anything? I know Zechs is a Prince.
The website I looked at for info had tons on the pilots, but very little on the 'bad' guys. It even said Treize has blonde hair... It's never looked blond on any drawing or screen I've seen.
So - is he? Or isn't he?

I just finished re-recording chapter 4 (of 12) of my Podbang entry. I lost almost three weeks of podfic-recording time to the flu! I felt fine after one week, but my voice didn't come all the way back till yesterday. It will be a dash to get the remaining eight chapters recorded and edited by deadline. I'm gonna need another bottle of Scotch.
Along with making podfic, I managed to generate 3000 new words this weekend on the long Regency AU fic. Some of those words are good, and a few are even good in the order they're currently in. It's a great feeling to jumpstart a stalled novel. I love that thing.
In the department of consuming written material, I listened to another couple of hours of The Big Burn: Teddy Roosevelt and the Fire That Saved America, and I have to tell you, the book is almost unbearably thrilling as the author follows the paths of several individuals involved in fighting the massive forest fire. I burst into tears at a couple of points, either from sadness or joy as these real, documented people--and their towns--perish or miraculously survive.
And in the department of consuming other things, I made a perfect-looking batch of Pandora cookies while I listened to my audiobook. They've been cooling while I've been recording my podfic. Now I get to go eat one! Or maybe two.

Caught a cold. Only wrote 595 words so far today, all on Claiming. I think I'm going to have to add them to my NaNoWriMo's totals - being sick has always affected how much I can write. Mainly 'cause all I do is sleep.
Anyway, Augustus is all grown up! At least, I think he is. He hasn't changed since about 33 clicks. Thanks guys - that was super-fast!
Wanna play again?
I still may have Claiming's chapter tomorrow. I'm going to take some meds and see how life goes.
Some more Wufei recs, brought to my attention by fourthice (thanks, luv!)
Chibi Kisses by Wind Chijmes - this one's more cute, than anything. Major sugar-warning! The fun part is imagining what they'll be like all grown up.
Dragon's Home by Krackensan - nice threesome :D
Cadence by Krackensan - also a threesome, and this is one of my favorite stories XD There's one more threesome out there that I love but I cannot for the life of me remember what it is. I'll go through my links again, and if I can't find it I'll post some info in case one of you guys knows what it is.

This may be my new website, if I can figure out how to get it to look the way I want it.
I don't like it at all right now, except for the nausea-inducing background image :D

There's no content at all yet; Just one page with one picture on it, from the old site. Not my real name on the members page, either; it's a pun on 'Little Mouse'. I picked this site 'cause you guys can sign up and then get notified of updates, so... I hope it works out!
